Privacy Policy

Last updated 18 August 2026

This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use stayelite.ae, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. It covers visitors to this website. If you become a property owner client, the handling of your data under our management agreement is described in that agreement.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by SY Property Leasing Vacation Homes Rental Co. LLC, trading as Stayélite, a limited liability company registered in the Emirate of Dubai, United Arab Emirates under commercial licence number 1213895.

For anything relating to this policy or to your personal data, contact us at contact@stayelite.ae or on +971 50 576 8620. We are the data controller for the information described below.

2. What we collect

We collect two kinds of information: what you give us directly, and what is gathered automatically as you browse.

Information you give us

When you request a revenue estimate or send us an enquiry through a form on this site, we ask for your name, email address, telephone number, the building or area your property is in, the number of bedrooms, and any message you choose to write. All of these are needed to prepare a meaningful estimate and to reply to you.

If you contact us through the WhatsApp buttons on this site, your WhatsApp phone number and the content of your messages are shared with us through WhatsApp. Those conversations are also governed by WhatsApp's own privacy terms, which we do not control.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours records basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser type and version, device type, approximate location derived from your IP address, the pages you viewed, how long you spent on them, and the website or advertisement that referred you. We use this to understand how the site performs and which advertising is working.

What we do not collect

We do not ask for and do not want payment card details, bank account details, passport or Emirates ID numbers, or any other identity documents through this website. If you are asked for any of these on a page that appears to be ours, do not provide them and please tell us.

3. Why we use it, and on what basis

What we doWhy we are allowed to
Reply to your enquiry and prepare your revenue estimate Because you asked us to, and because it is a step towards a possible contract between us
Contact you about your enquiry by email, phone or WhatsApp Your consent, given when you submitted your details
Measure which advertisements and pages produce enquiries Our legitimate interest in running our business efficiently, and your cookie consent where advertising cookies are used
Keep our records, meet tax and regulatory obligations Compliance with UAE law
Protect the site against fraud, spam and misuse Our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use two categories.

Essential cookies keep the site working — remembering, for example, that you have already responded to our cookie notice. These cannot be switched off and do not identify you.

Advertising and measurement cookies are set by Google as part of Google Ads conversion tracking. They tell us whether a visit that began with one of our advertisements ended in an enquiry. They do not tell us who you are by name.

When you first arrive you are shown a short notice with the choice to accept or decline. If you decline, we instruct Google not to use advertising or analytics cookies for your visit. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings, which will make the notice appear again. You can also block or delete cookies directly in your browser, though parts of the site may then behave unexpectedly.

5. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers who help us run the website and our business, and only to the extent they need it.

We may also disclose personal data where we are required to by law, by a court, or by a competent UAE authority, and to our professional advisers where necessary.

6. Where your data goes

Some of the providers above store or process data outside the United Arab Emirates, including in the United States and the European Union. Where personal data leaves the UAE we rely on the safeguards those providers have in place, including standard contractual clauses, and we take reasonable steps to satisfy ourselves that your data remains protected to a comparable standard.

7. How long we keep it

Enquiry details are kept for up to twenty-four months from your last contact with us, so that we can pick up a conversation you may return to. If you become a client, your data is kept for the duration of our agreement and for the period afterwards required by UAE commercial and tax law. Technical and advertising data is retained for shorter periods set by the providers named above, typically no more than twenty-six months. When a retention period ends we delete the data or irreversibly anonymise it.

If you would like your enquiry deleted sooner, ask us and we will do it.

8. Your rights

Under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, and equivalent laws that may apply to you if you are based elsewhere, you have the right to:

Write to contact@stayelite.ae and we will respond within thirty days. We may ask you to confirm your identity first so that we do not disclose your data to someone else. If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the UAE Data Office.

9. Security

We use encrypted connections across the whole site, restrict access to enquiry data to the people who need it, and rely on established providers for hosting and email. No method of transmitting or storing data is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take the protection of your information seriously and will notify you and the relevant authority if a breach occurs that is likely to affect your rights.

10. Children

This website is aimed at property owners and is not directed at anyone under eighteen. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Other websites

Our pages link to services we do not control, including WhatsApp, Airbnb and Booking.com. This policy does not apply to them, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. Read their policies before giving them your information.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our business or the law changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. If a change materially affects how we use your data, we will take reasonable steps to tell you.
